Steps to Request Access (for TDIC Staff)

  1. Visit the TDIC website (https://tdicinsurance.com)

  2. From the main menu, click “My Account”

  3. From the drop-down, click “Register”

  4. Go through the B2C registration flow
    a. Key in a valid email address
    b. Send verification code
    c. Receive verification code at email address
    d. Key in verification code
    e. Key in First Name
    f. Key in Last Name
    g. Key in Password
    h. Key in Confirm Password
    i. Click Create Account
    j. Key in valid Phone Number
    k. Click Send Code
    l. Receive verification code at provided phone number
    m. Key in verification code
    n. You will be redirected to the AMP Account Verification Page
    o. Return to TDIC Website (https://tdicinsurance.com)

  5. From the Main menu, click “My Account”

  6. From the drop-down, Click “Sign In”

  7. You will be redirected back to the website, logged in.

  8. Contact CDA/TDIC IT to request Staff/Component Access to gated content
    a. Email: websites@cda alexis.kahn@cda.org
    b. Subject: Request for Staff/Component Access to gated content

Once a user has made it through the above steps, they should be logged into the DNN website as a Registered User. They will however not be registered as a Policyholder or have access to gated content. To solve this we need to grant them the Staff-Component Role in DNN.

  1. Log into the DNN website as an administrator

  2. From the Persona Bar, hover over the wrench icon and click Users.

  3. Search for the user based on the provided email address

  4. Click the shield icon on the right-hand side

  5. Key in “Staff” and the role Staff-Component should appear, click it.

  6. Click “Add” on the right, and the user will be granted this role.
