If text needs to be included on an images, be sure to also include alt text description for accessibility purposes. An image’s alt text would have to convey both the text in the image as well as the content of the image itself.

Our website currently uses an automated news module which scales images according to placement across http://cda.org. This scaling causes any image with text or important information in the design to potentially be cut off.
Recommendation for images in articles or resources:
Please to not include any important text on article images used in EDN
Any text included on an image will likely be cropped or cut off when displayed in thumbnail view. This setting is an EDN module automation which can not be custom programmed at this time.
