Sprint Report:
8/25-9/8

  • Content areas requiring support during this time period were largely focused on CDA Presents.

  • Supporting staff users and addressing issues or questions related to the TDIC website launch was another key area.

  • IT/development focuses were on content governance, content update tracking, and accessibility.

Key Activities Completed

Super-User Support Updates

Current Sprint Commitments:
9/9-9/21

  • Our primary focus during this sprint will be ADA compliance, content governance, and improving tracking and reporting of content updates on http://cda.org

  • We will also be continuing to provide ad-hoc support for any needs that arise related to the TDIC website launch.

  • As CDA Presents comes to a close, we will be supporting content editors with any post-convention website content changes that are needed.

If there are upcoming projects that should be considered for a future sprint, we have a backlog of user stories in a spreadsheet here for discussion at our next backlog grooming meeting on Tuesday, 9/21, @ 11 am. Please feel free to add items and we will invite you to this meeting!

Functionality/Technical Debt

  • Classifieds functionality is still on hold pending identification of a business process owner.

  • Find a Dentist improvements are in a discovery phase to determine level of effort.

 

Future Projects

  • Gated/permission-based content is on the roadmap to be discussed now that our site search improvements have been deployed

Accessibility Remediation

  • The Monsido tool is being utilized to track and ensure compliance across our sites. Issues will be flagged for discussion in Jira.

 

Templates, Standardization, and Navigation Improvements

  • Templates for cda.org are ready to be implemented across the site. These can be viewed in Confluence.

  • Site auditing for template improvements related to ADA compliance is in progress
