Logging Time in Tempo

Option 1: Log time on a task

  1. Find tasks assigned to you by clicking on the “Your Work” tab. You can log time on tasks that are assigned to yourself, or tasks that you helped somebody else with.

     

  2. Select your task and click the Tempo icon to add time.

     

  3. Select “Log Time” to record time you have already worked.

     

  4. Type a note about what you did and how long you spent on the task.

     

Option 2: Log time through your timesheet

  1. From the top menu “Apps” select “Tempo”

     

  2. Log time spent in meetings using the calendar view. If you have not yet done so, connect your Outlook calendar to Tempo. Connecting Outlook to Tempo

  3. To log time spent on tasks unrelated to calendar items, click the “+” icon at the bottom of the day you worked on an item.

     

  4. Click “Log Time” and the modal will come up.

     

  5. Find your task in the dropdown menu.

     

  6. To see all time logged, use the “Timesheet” tab at the top right of the screen.

     

  7. You can click on an individual time entry and edit or add to it. When timesheet is complete, click “Submit” at the top right of the screen.
