Posting Press Releases

  1. From the Press Releases page, click “Add Article”

 

2. Paste the title in the title field, the subtitle in the subtitle field, and select the category “Press Releases”

3. Paste the summary in the summary box. It should be 1-2 lines and a max of about 280 characters.

4. In the details section, add the main article body. If you need headers here, you’ll want to keep in mind that the template is going to use the subtitle as the first header on the page, so if you do include headers, use them in the middle of the press release to break up the text, not in the beginning.

5. At the bottom of the press release you will include the boilerplate language as an H3:

6. Set the publish date as needed (typically the day you post, but could be in the past if the item is older).

7. Set the expiration date for 6 months from the date published.

8. At the bottom, select “save and close” when you are ready to publish.
