Adding a Resource to a Toolkit
The toolkits contain links to existing resources in the library. They do not contain unique resources. They are collections of resources.
Large, Multi-Category Toolkits
Example: Vaccine toolkit
These toolkits function like categories. To add an item to the toolkit, you will need to edit each individual resource.
Find the item you want to add to the toolkit and click “edit article”
Scroll down to the categories section and select the name of the toolkit you need to add the item to.
Individual Toolkits
Example: Hiring toolkits
Copy the resource’s full URL from your browser’s address bar
On the editing screen for the toolkit, scroll down to the Links section
Paste in the resource’s URL in the URL field
Add the resource’s title in Link Title field
Click the blue “Add” button.
Click the green “Save and View” button at the bottom of the Add Article screen.
Review the updated resource and make any corrections needed.
Removing items from toolkits
Removing is done the same way as adding items. To remove an item from a category toolkit, you will simply uncheck the box with that toolkit’s name.
To remove an item from an individual toolkit, go into the toolkit itself and delete the link associated with that item.
