Goals

  • Inform departments on key processes to help ensure successful website implementations: ADA compliance, Microsites, Templates, Intake Form/Process, Cause and Effect of Website Changes

  • Become informed on upcoming initiatives/goals/projects to assist in successful on-time website implementations and to identify cross-department similarities for unified website implementations

  • Identify all websites and social efforts outside of the main CDA.org and TDICinsurance.com websites

  • Identify key data points to measure ROI on website spending as well as ROI on initiatives/projects/goals in general

Agenda

  1. Introductions and roles

  2. Provide attendees with an overview of goals of this meeting and future weekly/bi-weekly meetings

    1. Understand the whys of our new process to help with company-wide acceptance

    2. Idenitify inititives/projects/goal to help guide projects to successful web implementations and be able to report back helpful analytics (This is main regular meeting goal)

    3. Elaborate on the importance of ADA compliance and explain a bit of the process

  3. Provide highlevel overview of why we have implemented this process, the ramifications and how we will work together to ensure success

    1. Cause and effect of website changes (Testing, Security, Compliance, Upgrades, Maintenance)

    2. Last minute requests lead to vulnerabilities

    3. The necessity to maintain brand identity and an optimized user experience through consistent page layouts

    4. Clarity and transparency in inititives/projects/goals will help with on-time delivery and optimization of website implementations

    5. Discuss PDF use cases and the need for source files if used

  4. Define upcoming Q3 inititives/projects/goals

  5. Identify any key data points that will be helpful to the department

  6. Set goals for next meeting

Decisions

  1. Cutoff date of next Wednesday so that we can have changes on the site by Friday
  2. General inventory/audit can be done in a spreadsheet; individual pages that need content updates should be done in separate tickets/tasks

Cassidi’s Notes from 6/16/21 Meeting with CDA Presents

  • 2 conferences each year. Lot of putting info up and taking it down. 

  • Next convention is in 2 months. Need to get old content taken down. It will be ready in the next coming weeks.

  • They lost their separate page CDApresents.org website. They might of lost some data. 

  • Exhibitor info will be coming up more quickly than Attendee info. 

  • Website is number 1 resource for attendees and exhibitors

  • Info for exhibitor information needs to go live next Friday.

  • Remove sponsors on the current home page

  • Carrie working with Marketing (Sandy) for Copy on Site

  • Exhibitor info needs to be live Fri Jun 25

  • July 23rd is when registration goes live. They will provide a link to use when they get it.

  • Speakers list comes from eaptify (sp?)

  • They really don’t measure data, but they would like all the basics. They need better direction.
